Web design — from Ulm, worldwide

A website that works while you work.

We design and build websites for companies: from Ulm, for clients across the German-speaking region and beyond. Individually designed, no page builder, sub-second load times, and a structure Google understands from day one. Where your office sits changes nothing about how we work together.

Who it is for

Three situations where the effort pays for itself.

  • The site has aged

It still works, but it loads slowly, falls apart on a phone, and nobody dares touch it any more. A rebuild is almost always cheaper than repairing that.

  • There is no site yet

You are starting out, or so far it has been Instagram and word of mouth. Then it is not about beauty — it is about being found at all and being understood.

  • It looks good but does not sell

Visitors arrive, enquiries do not. Usually that is the order of the argument and missing proof — both are design work, not ad budget.

What is included

The scope is settled before the first draft.

Every project gets the same baseline. Anything beyond it is agreed up front — not in invoice number three.

What we deliberately do not do

  • No page builders and no bought templates
  • No trackers that make a cookie banner necessary for nothing in return
  • No licence model that ties you to us
  • 01Individual design, no purchased theme
  • 02Structure and page architecture built on search intent
  • 03German and English if you want both
  • 04Responsive from 320 px to large displays
  • 05Technical SEO, structured data, sitemap
  • 06Built to WCAG 2.2 AA
  • 07Contact form, booking or WhatsApp integration
  • 08Legal pages wired in, cookie-free where possible
  • 09Handover with training and every access credential
What we build on

We pick the stack per project , not out of habit.

A page builder loads everything it could theoretically do on every single page. That is exactly where the three-second wait on your old site comes from, and every plugin is another open door.

So our default is a directly built stack: pages are generated ahead of time and served worldwide, there is no database to attack, and no weekly updates that might break something. If your project needs a shop, an editing system or a link into software you already run, we build that too. The technology follows your job, not the other way round.

Next.js
Our default: pages generated ahead of time, not per request
Vercel & Cloudflare
Served from the data centre nearest the visitor
TypeScript
Errors surface at build time, not at your customer
Schema.org
So Google and AI answers understand the content
What it costs

The price is fixed before the start.

We quote by scope, not by the hour, and name the figure in the offer. If the brief changes we talk about it — otherwise it stays at the number you signed.

Common questions

What clients want to know before committing.

How long does a new website take?

A manageable company site usually takes four to six weeks from concept approval. The biggest factor is not the engineering but how quickly copy and images arrive from your side.

Can I edit content myself later?

Yes. On request we wire in a content system where you maintain text, images and pages yourself. Without that request the site stays deliberately lean and we handle small changes.

What happens after launch?

For four weeks we are your direct contact for adjustments and questions, free of charge. After that you can carry on yourself or keep us for Management & Hosting — your call, not ours.

Why is there no cookie banner on this site?

Because nothing is stored on your device that anyone would have to ask about. Our analytics is cookieless: city, device and browser are part of every request a browser sends to a server anyway, and they are read there instead of through an identifier kept on the device. That is why the dashboard still shows where visitors come from without anyone having to dismiss a window first. A banner is not a badge of quality, it is the consequence of a decision: the moment something runs that recognises your visitors across websites, the banner becomes mandatory.

And if I need Google Ads, the Meta pixel or a booking tool?

Then we build the banner, and we build it properly: the scripts load only after consent, refusing is as easy as accepting, and the decision is recorded. We do not advise against those tools as a rule. We just sort out beforehand what is actually needed, so you are not greeting every visitor with a window for the sake of a metric you never look at.

Do you only work in Ulm and Neu-Ulm?

No. We are based in Ulm and work across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and in English beyond that. We are happy to meet in person, but the collaboration does not require it.

Show us your current site.

Send us the link. You get an honest assessment of what holds up, what does not, and whether a rebuild is worth it at all.
